Dear Spacex,,, Yesterday was wonderful, powerful, Exciting, and Heartwarming. Thank you for the great time.. Tomorrow fills my heart with anticipation. My soul with a new realm of "what if's" and "What may become".. My mind fills with thoughts of what was impossible yesterday, that I saw happen today. What "Impossible" concepts from Yesterday do I need to rethink, to make possible tomorrow.
Well, stainless steel is better than carbon fiber because the ship is pressurized so there is no buckling issue. They need flaps because the ship will sometimes re-enter with a payload and sometimes not. I agree that the simplest design is the better but sometimes you have no choice.

Why do they rendezvous in orbit? Just curious? Maybe once they have made the maneuver towards Mars out of earths orbit but other than that I can’t really think of a reason they would dock to eachother.
